New Starters
Stonegate will automatically enrol employees into Nest if they meet the below criteria.
- aged from 22 up to state pension age
- earnings before tax are at least £10,000 per year (or £833 per month, or £192 per week)
If you do not meet the eligibility criteria, you will not be automatically enrolled into a pension however may request to be enrolled.
If you wish to opt out of the pension scheme, you can do this once you receive your welcome letter from Nest which will explain how you do this.
Once you opt out within the set timeframe, Stonegate will receive notification and repay the pension deduction back to you through payroll.
Existing Employees
Re enrolment happens every 3 years, and therefore if you have chosen to opt out of the Nest pension scheme, you will be enrolled back in at Re enrolment.
Stonegate are legally required to do this therefore if you wish to opt out again, you can do this once you receive your welcome letter from Nest which will explain how you do this.
