Policy Aims
Stonegate recognises the responsibility to provide a safe and healthy working environment, and this could be jeopardised by anyone who misuses alcohol, drugs, legal highs or solvents within the working environment. We have a zero-tolerance policy to the possession or use of illegal drugs whilst at work.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Colleague: Present for work in a safe manner and not under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, psychoactive substances or solvents.

Line Manager: Investigate and manage any colleague who presents for work in an unsafe manner. Authorise responsible alcohol consumption and manage breaches.
